John V Palaeologus, with John VI, 1347-1353. Tornese (Billon, 19 mm, 0.76 g, 5 h), Constantinopolis. Jewelled cross with B's and six-pointed stars in angles; all within dotted circle. Rev. John V, on the left, standing facing, wearing crown with pendilia and loros, holding labarum in his right hand and John VI, on the right, standing facing, wearing crown with pendilia and loros, holding cross-tipped scepter in his left hand; both holding between them labarum on shaft.
